V-day? or D-day?

Valentine's Day(V-day) is just around the corner...or should I say Doom's Day(D-Day)!!!!
This is the day where the price of everything cute or romantic shoot up sky-high(blardy cut-throat pirates...)
And on this happy(or not) occassion....Who will be the unfortunate fools? YES!! MEN!!
Unfortunately, tradition says that Feb 14 is a day for men to show their love to their girlfriends/wives.....and how do men accomplish this?
By buying overpriced gifts for their girlfriends/wives and taking them to expensive restaurants to dine....
For me, I think men could show their love everyday wert...Why only Feb 14?
It's just an excuse to rip off more money from men......It's.......It's.......It's.....It's ingenius!!!
The blood-suckers(shops) would have earned enough on Feb 14 itself to close shop for the whole year and yet go on a 5-star cruise around the world.....
Haihh...As I always say:-

"If you do not spend, girl gets angry....If you spend, lao pek(dad) gets angry"

The above motto pretty much sums up a guy's life....Oh well......
